The Baseline Monofilament evaluator is used to measure the cutaneous sensory perception threshold. It measures sensitivity, nerve damage or impairment, and changes in neurological status. Each monofilament represents a unique amount of force which is marked by force and size. We offer three types of monofilaments: Tactile™, Fold-up™, and disposable monofilaments.

1. TACTILE™ MONOFILAMENTS
These monofilaments have a fitted protective case that enables safe storage and transport. Available in a 2-piece set for normal sensation or a 2-piece set for loss of protective sensation.

2. FOLD-UP™ MONOFILAMENTS
These monofilaments feature an easy-to-fold nylon filament for protection as well as easy storage and portability. Sets are shipped and stored in a soft-shell protective carrying case. Available in a 5-piece hand set, a 6-piece foot set, or a complete 20-piece set.

3. DISPOSABLE MONOFILAMENTS
These are individual 5,07 / 10 gm monofilaments that are disposable, making them ideal for clinics and other multi-patient environments. 1 type of monofilament available in 1 piece, 20 pieces, or 40 pieces.
